Background

Old East Village lies just east of downtown London, Ontario. It is bordered to the north by the CP rail yard at Central Ave, to the west by Adelaide Street, to the south by the CN rail lines at York St and to the east by Ashland Ave on the north side of Dundas St. and the CN/CP feeder lines at Kelloggs on the south side of Dundas St. The Old East Village Community Association (OEVCA) was formed in January of 2003.

Plant Exchange May 12th

May 12 from 9am -1 pm the Old East Community Association Garden Club is hosting the annual Plant Exchange.
Plant exchange reminder: bring your plants to exchange, take something home, Saturday May 12 (9 am to 1 pm). Lorne Ave Public School Parking lot. We regret there will be no compost for sale this year due to a shortage of confirmed volunteers. :-(  
Home baked muffins and fresh brewed coffee will be available for sale thanks to one of our lovely local teenagers. :-)

Public Consultation Meeting of Central London Elementary ARC

Monday April 2 at 7:00 pm in the Lorne Avenue Public School Library (2nd Floor, East Hallway) the 1st public meeting of the Central London Elementary ARC will be held. Everyone is welcome to attend but only registered presenters will be allowed to speak. Future meetings will be held Monday, April 30th at 7:00 pm at Bishop Townsend PS. Thursday, June 7th and Thursday, Sept. 20th locations to be announced.

Meeting to Inform Community about ARC Process at Lorne Ave Public School

Wednesday, March 21st at 6:30pm in the Lorne Avenue Public School Library (2nd Floor, East Hallway) there will be a meeting hosted by the School Council to discuss the ARC Process and inform the community of upcoming meetings and how to become involved.
